In Rewa, the flowering crops were burnt to ashes due to a fire in the field. The incident of arson took place in Raghunathpur under Chorhata police station area. By the time the fire brigade team arrived on the farmers’ information, the fire could be controlled. By then the standing crops in 20 acres had been burnt to ashes. According to the police, Vipin Tiwari and five other members of his family have also been affected due to the fire.
Farmers’ organizations have demanded compensation in the whole matter. with
