lobe. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukvander Singh Sukhu on Thursday said the rebel Congress leaders were corrupt and would soon go behind bars. Addressing a public meeting at Samurkallan in Una district, Sukhu said the rebel Congress leaders who recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would create trouble there as well.

Expressing strong objection to the language used by Soko, the BJP on Thursday threatened to file a defamation case against him. Sukhu said that Congress’s Vivek Sharma (Vikku) is getting public support from Kotalhar Assembly seat and Satpal Raizada from Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat and appealed to the people to make both the candidates win.

Sokho said the corrupt would have no say in the country and would be out of active politics. The prime minister said: ‘We don’t have money, but we have honesty, morality and the support of people.’ He alleged that six Congress rebels and three independent MLAs were sold for Rs 15 crore each.

‘Hello father, save me…’ Then the daughter’s phone went off, the man ran to the police, and then

The chief minister urged people to teach former local MLA Davinder Kumar Bhutto a lesson and said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) should also ignore him. Sukhu said, ‘As the MLA from Kotalhar, Divinder had dinner with us the night before the Rajya Sabha elections, but in the morning he voted for the BJP candidate. It was a thankless task.

Referring to Devinder, the Chief Minister said that he used to bring recommendations for receiving contracts but never discussed the public works. Sukhu accused the BJP of trying to topple the elected Congress government with the help of Congress coats and use of money. The public will probably not forgive him and urged the voters to make sure that their election deposits are forfeited.

The BJP strongly opposed the allegations leveled by Soko at his rally and threatened to file a defamation suit against him for accusing him of selling MLAs. BJP general secretary Bihari Lal Sharma said in a video released here, “It is not befitting of a chief minister to make such obscene remarks and it shows his frustration and disappointment as the defeat is against the Congress.”

He said that BJP strongly condemns the Chief Minister’s words and advises Sukhoo to avoid spoiling the atmosphere. He said that BJP and former MLAs concerned will file a defamation case in this regard.
