GUWAHATI: The manifesto of the Indian National Congress (INC) – Nyay Patra – promises to dedicate one day a week during the Parliament sessions to discuss issues proposed by the opposition benches, and ensure neutrality of the Speakers of both Houses.

The Nyay Patra offers various pledges for better governance.

A significant promise detailed in the manifesto is the guarantee of equal opportunities for the opposition parties in parliamentary procedures.

The manifesto commits that both houses of parliament will meet for 100 days a year, reviving past parliamentary traditions.

In addition, he promises that one day a week will be devoted to the discussion of issues proposed by the opposition benches in each house.

Furthermore, she guarantees that the heads of both houses will be impartial, cut off all ties with political parties and uphold the tradition of neutrality, in which ‘the chairman does not speak’.

There were allegations that the ruling party pushed the opposition due to its numerical superiority, leading to critical bills being passed in the absence of opposition members.

Addressing the media, Singh criticized what he called "Rule like Hitler" of the government and emphasized the need to correct the situation.

He also expressed concern about the government in Assam, stating that it is 1.5 times worse than the central government, which is a significant problem.
