The nomination process for the same will be held from April 26 to May 3. The counting of votes is scheduled to take place on June 4. To file nomination papers from the Muzaffarpur Lok Sabha constituency, the candidates or Their supporters have been coming to the district election office daily to get information related to the nomination. Information has been taken from the district election office regarding the filing of their nomination papers. According to the information, general category candidates filing nomination papers have to deposit Rs 25,000 and ST-SC candidates have to deposit Rs 12,500 as deposit. If less than 6 percent of the polled votes are received during an election, the candidate’s deposit will be forfeited. Muzaffarpur State Chief Electoral Officer SN Srinivas is likely to visit Muzaffarpur on April 24 to review the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. Here he will review the preparations for the elections of Tirot and Saran divisions.
