During the meeting at Ane Marg, the Principal Secretary of the Disaster Management Department, Parthiya Amrit updated about the preparedness for possible floods, drought and other disasters through a presentation. He said all necessary preparations are completed before flooding as per standard operating procedure i.e. SOP. Detailed instructions were given to all districts and departments.

He gave detailed information about boat operations, polythene seats, availability of relief materials, medicines, animal fodder, shelter sites, community kitchens, dry rations, food rations, district emergency operations center etc.

Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha were present.

Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Sinha, Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Energy Minister Vijendra Prasad Yadav, Disaster Management Minister Santosh Kumar Suman, Public Health Engineering Minister Neraj Kumar Singh, Agriculture and Health Minister Mangal Pandey were present in the meeting.
