Shikarpur: After adults, children also started being kidnapped in Sindh. The thieves threatened to kill the child if they did not get the ransom.
In Sindh, the police failed to curb the raw material thieves. Thieves abducted a 7-year-old child two days ago from the limits of Alf Shah Shaheed police station in Shikarpur district.
After the child went missing, the police were contacted, while the robbers called and demanded a ransom of 50 lakh from the heirs and threatened to kill the child if the ransom was not paid.
The heirs said that we are poor and have no money to pay the ransom. The Chief Minister and IG Sindh should make efforts to recover the abducted child.

Citizens and Jai Sindh Front staged a protest and dharna at Ghanta Ghar Chowk against the abduction of the child.
Demonstrators said that thieves rule in the whole city and the law is not visible anywhere. Earlier, thieves used to kidnap adults, but now even children are not safe.
The protesters demanded from the government that the higher authorities should take immediate notice of the ongoing unrest in the city.
On the other hand, the police told the protesters that they are trying to recover the child as soon as possible.
