Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar’s security has been beefed up. In view of the fear of danger, the central government took this decision. The Union Home Ministry has decided to provide Z category VIP security equipped with armed commandos to the Chief Election Commissioner. This step was taken after the alert issued by the intelligence agencies.

If sources related to the Election Commission are to be believed, the enemy countries are trying to conspire against Rajiv Kumar. Only after that was his confidence increased. The Union Ministry of the Interior asked the Central Reserve Police to provide a group of 40-50 people for this purpose.

This step was taken before the start of the Lok Sabha elections. In fact, voting will begin from April 19 in seven stages across the country. The report prepared by the central security agencies described the CEC as a threat and recommended tight security for the Chief Election Commissioner. Now, after beefing up security, the Chief Election Commissioner will be under ‘Z’ category security cover while traveling across the country.
