CBSE has released important guidelines regarding the supplementary practical examination of class 10 and 12 on its official website. According to the schedule, the practical exam will be held between July 5 and 15, 2024.
At the same time, a supplementary theory exam will begin on July 15. CBSE has advised students to contact the school or examination center with mark sheet, results and admit card before July 5. Apart from that, if 10th grade students are absent from any internal assessment or have been included in a cell category, then relative grades will be given in the internal assessment based on theory scores during the supplementary exam. For this purpose, it will not be necessary to organize any internal assessment. For regular candidates, the exam will be held at their own school: according to the circular, there will be supplementary practical exams in two categories. The first category will be those students who were absent or failed the practical exam in any one subject. The second category will be of those students who have a cell in both theory and practical of any one subject. For regular candidates, the exam will be conducted at their school only. At the same time, for private candidates, the practical exam will take place only in the centers designated for the theory exam.
Any student from grade 12 who failed to score enough marks in engineering. But pass the theory. They will not have to appear in the theory exam. At the same time, students who received less marks in both practical and theory. They will have to appear in both the practical and theoretical exams during the supplementary exams in 2024 .
