Childhood obesity is a long-term complex condition characterized by excess body fat in children. It occurs when a child’s weight exceeds the normal or healthy range for their age and height. Obese children have a higher risk of developing various health problems such as asthma, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, depression, joint pain and heart disease.

According to a report, more than 43 lakh children under the age of 5 are suffering from the disease called obesity. It is considered as one of the most difficult and difficult health problems.

Causes of obesity in children
