Calgary police are looking to the public for help in locating a 55-year-old man who has not been seen for two years.
Police say the last time anyone saw John was in the 0-100 block of Oki Drive SW, in the Oakridge community, on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
In December 2023, the police became aware that he had been out of touch with his family for longer than usual.
Investigators have used all investigative avenues to find John and are now appealing to the public for help.
“It is unacceptable for John to be out of contact with his family for so long, and we, along with his family, are concerned for his welfare,” police said in a news release on Tuesday.
Police say at this time there is nothing to indicate foul play was involved.
John is described as 172 centimeters (5’8″) tall and 140 pounds (64 kilograms) with a slim build, blue eyes and brown and gray hair.
When he was last seen, John was wearing blue jeans and a puffy black winter jacket.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call police at 403-266-1234.
