The deceased child has been identified as Ibad Bubure, aged 9.
In Thane, Maharashtra, neighbors kidnapped and murdered a 9-year-old child. According to police sources, the accused needed money to build a house. For this reason, he kidnapped the son of a businessman who lived in his own area. After this, a ransom of Rs 23 lakh was demanded from the child’s father. But fearing being caught, he killed the child and buried it behind the house. The police have found the body and arrested the accused Salman.
Kidnapping of a child while returning from the mosque
Police said that as soon as 9-year-old Ibad came out of the mosque after offering evening prayers in Goregaon, Badlapur, he was kidnapped. When Ibad didn’t arrive home, the family started looking for him. Meanwhile, the child’s father, Muddasir, received a call from the kidnapper. He said, if you want your son to live, give Rs 23 lakh in return. After this the caller’s phone was switched off.

The accused was traced from the location of the mobile phone.
The child’s father informed the police. By then the news of Ibad’s disappearance had spread throughout the village. The police and the villagers were together looking for Ibad. The kidnapper then inserted another SIM card into his mobile phone and tried to make a call. Because of this the police came to know the whereabouts of the accused.
The police searched the house of a youth named Salman Maulvi who lived in the same village. During this period the dead body of the child was found behind the house. In this case, the police have detained five people including Salman, Safuyan. Everyone’s questioning goes on. An FIR has been registered in the case and Salman has been made the main accused.
