Filmmaker, director and cinematographer Gangu Ramsay has died. Gangu Ramsay, aged 83, was ill for the past month. He was undergoing treatment at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai for a month. Gangu Ramsay was part of the Ramsay Brothers, who were famous for horror films.
The news of Gangu Ramsay’s demise has been confirmed by his family through an official statement. The family wrote in the statement, “It is with great sadness that we announce the death of one of the Ramsay Brothers, legendary cinematographer, filmmaker, producer and FU Ramsay’s second eldest son, Gangu Ramsay, has passed away. Gangu Ramsay, who was suffering from health related problems for the last month, left us today at 8 am.
