BJP leader cheated Rs 10 lakh, one arrested Achi-News

Bhaskar News Police have arrested one of the three accused who duped a BJP leader of Rs 10 lakh and a mobile phone in the name of exorcism in Janjgir. In this case, two accused were caught at the time of the incident, while three accused were arrested. others escaped. Out of these, one more accused was arrested by the police and sent to jail, two more accused are still absconding. The matter is of Kotmisonar of Akaltra police station area. According to Akaltra police, BJP leader Engineer Anand Prakash Miri, a resident of Kotmisunar, contacted Baiga of Bilaspur to conduct a puja at his house. On February 4, 5 people came to Anand Prakash Miri’s house to perform pooja. While performing pooja at home, he was told to go out of the house and perform the pooja with disturbing mention of ghosts. Anand Prakash Miri along with his brother-in-law and the driver went to the Kosavari forest in Podidalha along with the people who had come for exorcism. Pooja was performed in the forest till 11 pm. After the puja, Anand Prakash Miri, his brother-in-law and the driver were given prasad to eat. After eating the prasad, the three fell unconscious. Seizing the opportunity, the people who had come to perform pooja fled the spot with Rs 10 lakh and a mobile phone kept with Anand Prakash Miri. Anand Prakash Miri wrote the report on February 9. Police have registered an offense under sections 420, 120B, 338 against the five accused. Police have arrested two accused Vinod Kumar Suryavanshi alias Vikram, Jagdish Prasad Lahere alias Kallu. Police have arrested absconding accused Kumar Patel (55), a resident of Korma and sent him to prison.
