Five-year-old boy Dhiraj died after eating a birthday cake in Bengaluru’s Bhubaneswari Nagar area, while his parents are in critical condition. Both are undergoing treatment at KIMS Hospital. The incident was investigated and samples of the cake were sent for forensic examination.
According to media reports, Ballerge works as a swiggy musician. He brought the cake home on Sunday night after a customer canceled his order. Then Balraj and his wife Nagalakshmi celebrated Dharaj’s birthday by cutting the cake. The condition of the three deteriorated on Monday morning.
People living in the neighborhood took all three to the hospital, but by then Dhiraj was dead. However, the child’s cause of death is not yet known.
