Bhiwani Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Mahavir Kaushik inspected the Bhiwani and Bawani Kheda assembly constituencies strong room constructed in the Education Board building. Additional Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Bawani Kheda accompanied him during the inspection.

During the inspection, District Election Officer Mahavir Kaushik took information from the officers on duty about the presence of people coming to the strong room. He got information from the officers and workers present about the Voting Unit, the Control Unit and VVPAT and issued necessary guidelines.
He himself closely evaluated the commissioning of EVM machines. He said that all forms and other materials used in the voting process should be thoroughly checked and bagged.

He said there will be 24-hour surveillance through CCTV cameras. If agents or other authorized persons of political parties and candidates come to the site of the strong room, their entry must be made in the register. He said that the security arrangement of the strong room was a very important task. Therefore, any kind of negligence in this direction will not be tolerated.
He said that after the end of polling, polling parties will deposit EVMs and VVPATs in the strong room. Personnel of the paramilitary forces will be deployed for their security.
Political party representatives will also continue to be under surveillance. Access by unauthorized persons to the strong room will be prohibited. Mahavir Kaushik said that the strong room will be sealed for the safety of EVMs. Duty wise is imposed on shift security forces so that there is no lack of security.
