There is a village in Kusheshwar Stan assembly constituency in Samastipur Lok Sabha in Darbhanga district where no school building has been constructed since independence. Because of this, children are forced to study under the open sky in the scorching sun and rain. During the elections, many public representatives came and gave promises, but this remained only a dream.
