This 35 year old shop is very famous for Bonda and Bajji in Bangalore. Located next to Madhavan Park in First Block Jayanagar, this Bonda, Bajji shop opens every day in the evening. “Our parents started this shop in 1990. Our father used to work at Kamath Hotel. Leaving him, Bonda, Bajji opened a shop. This is what runs our family right now. Since we opened the shop next to Madhavan Park, it is famous as Madhavan Park Bonda, Bajji,” said Santosh, the shop owner.
What is diversity?
Capsicum bajji, bonda bara, vade, banana bajji are available in this shop. Oil is heated in a large banana, then dipped in chickpea flour and cooked. So delicious that mouth watering is guaranteed. Cut capsicum bajji, bonda bread, vade, balikai bajji, squeeze carrot, onion and lemon juice over it and enjoy. Hundreds of people come every day to eat this bonda and bajji. It has regular customers and some newcomers. They also take the parcel home. So, the owner of this small shop earns thousands of rupees every day.
