Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has called two of his team’s players ‘very dirty’ and said he would never live in the same room with them.
Rohit Sharma appeared as a guest on Netflix’s “The Great Indian Couple Show” along with cricketer Shreyas Iyer.
Meanwhile, host Kapil Sharma asked him, “Which player wouldn’t you share a room with?” Rohit Sharma replied that he would never share a room with Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant.
He said, ‘These days everyone gets a separate room. But if I get a chance to share a room, there are two people I wouldn’t share a room with, Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant. They are very dirty’.
“After practice, they just throw their clothes on the bed,” says Rohit Sharma.
Rohit further revealed that Dhawan and Pant sleep till noon, and their hotel rooms are mostly on “Do Not Disturb” (DND).
“His room is always on DND because he sleeps until 1 pm,” she said. Housekeeping staff come to clean the rooms in the morning, so it is important for them to keep their rooms on DND. Otherwise, they will intrude. That is why their rooms often remain dirty for three to four days. And it becomes a problem for the people who live around them. So I don’t think I can live with them’.
