Ayodhya (June 22): The chief priest of Kashi, Pandit Laxmikant Dixit, who led the 121 Vedic Brahmins who took part in laying the foundation stone of the Ram temple, died in the morning. After getting this information, there was a wave of grief among the people of Kashi. In January, Pandit Laxmikant Dixit played a prominent role in the Prana Pratishtha Puja at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. All the pujas were performed under his guidance. The son and other family members participated in the puja. Apart from this, in December 2021, Kashi participated in the inaugural puja of Vishwanath Dham.

The family members of Pandit Laxmikant Dixit while informing about the death of Pandit Laxmikant Dixit said that Babuji’s health deteriorated suddenly this morning and he died after some time. It is worth noting that he had deep faith in the culture and tradition of Sanatan India and he always explained the devotion to God to the people.

Apart from being the chief priest at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir foundation stone laying ceremony in January, Kashi Vishwanath Corridor was also part of the puja inauguration. With the blessings of God, the coronations of the major royal families of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior, Rajasthan and the country have been completed on behalf of Babuji and ancestors. Moreover, the older generation of the Dikshitar family is also said to have contributed to the coronation of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja.
