Now Kejriwal has approached the Delhi High Court to challenge that order. At the same time, an application has been filed for the hearing of the case on Sunday.
ED raided Kejriwal’s residence on Thursday night. Earlier, the Delhi Chief Minister was called nine times by the ED for questioning. Although he did not attend even once. That’s when the ED officers went to his home on Thursday night. Kejriwal was arrested in the night. As per the rules, he was produced in court within 24 hours. His case was heard in the bench of the special CBI court, Kaveri Bawejar, on Friday. ED applied to the court to take them into custody for 10 days. However, the judge jailed ED for seven days. On Saturday, the AP chief approached the Delhi High Court challenging the ED’s custody order.
