Ant and Deitch returned for the penultimate episode of series 20 of Saturday Night Takeaway tonight (April 6).

It could also be their last episode ever next week, after the pair previously revealed they would be taking an indefinite break from the show at the end of this season.

The show featured guest host BAFTA award winning actor Lenny Roche and opened with a performance by Take That.

Following a quick introduction by Ant and Dec, the show went straight into the Spot the Difference game.

The game saw celebrities Babatunde Aleshe, Olivia Attwood and Jordan North appear in audience homes and rearrange the contents of different rooms to see if they can spot the difference.

Viewers were left in tears after Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway game, which saw the family reunite after five years

After two members of the public took part in the Saturday Night Takeaway game, it was time for Jane Ferguson from Birkenhead to take part.

North appeared in what appeared to be her living room.

As the game ended, North was replaced by someone in a mask with his face on it.

This was revealed to be the daughter of Jane Holly, who was then joined by her partner Louis and their baby daughter Paisley.

It emerged that Jane had not seen Holly for five years since moving to Australia and had never met her granddaughter in person.

But Annette and Dak weren’t done with the surprises yet.

The pair revealed that Holly, Lewis and Paisley weren’t actually at Jane’s home in Birkenhead, they were at the Saturday Night Takeaway studio.

A tearful Jane reunited with the trio in an emotional moment on the Saturday Night Takeaway stage in front of audiences and viewers across the UK.

Annette and Dutch revealed that they had secretly flown Holly, Lewis and Paisley from Australia so that Jane could see them and hug her granddaughter in person.

This surprise not only Jane and her family in tears, but also viewers.

A person who took to X (formerly Twitter) said: “Jesus Messiah, sobbing at Ant and Dec. Saturday night here.”

Another commented: “Well I put a phone in the kitchen while I’m busy and now I’m crying in a Saturday night takeaway.”

While a third person added: “Why am I crying over Saturday night takeaway, I’m actually fine.”
