An IMF delegation arrived in Pakistan for the 9th Economic Review – Business and Economy

The ninth economic assessment mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has reached Islamabad.
According to the sources, the regular IMF delegation will hold talks with Pakistani officials from tomorrow, the IMF delegation will review Pakistan’s economic goals and flood situation.
Sources indicated that the IMF delegation will meet officials of Nepra, FBR and other institutions to review the revolving credit in the energy sector.
If the negotiations between the IMF and Pakistan are successful, there is a possibility of payment of one billion dollars to Pakistan.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Finance has requested a mission to visit Pakistan and the IMF delegation will return after completing its visit to Pakistan on February 9.
