Amravati, Leading News Service : The electricity supply to the Irvine district general hospital was disrupted on Monday night (25th) due to a sudden fire in the transformer. Darkness spread in all the departments of the hospital and it was seen that the patients were treated by the doctors in the light of a mobile torch. The main information is that the transformer is burnt due to a short circuit. After the fire broke out, the staff on duty at the hospital brought the fire under control after almost an hour of effort. However, by then the entire transformer had burned out. Due to this incident, patients in the ICU, pediatric department, outpatient department and all other wards had to face huge difficulties. District Surgeon Dr. Dilip Saundade was present at the hospital at this time. He directed the concerned to restore power supply immediately. However, the electricity supply at the hospital was not restored until late at night. It is understood that the generators at the hospital are also switched off to ensure smooth power supply in case of an emergency. So once again the administration of the district general hospital has come to the fore. Due to this incident and the inadequate facilities in the hospital, it was seen that the patients suffered a lot of agony.
