The results of the Lok Sabha elections will be declared across the country today, i.e. on June 4. Preparations for the census have also been completed in Bihar. Counting will start soon from now. Chief Electoral Officer HR Srinivas, Patna DM Shirat Kapil Ashok, Patna SSP Rajeev Mishra took stock of the preparations. Counting of votes for Patliputra and Patna Sahib Lok Sabha constituencies will begin at 8 am at AN College.
Let us tell you that the BJP candidate from Patna Sahib is Ravi Shankar Prasad, while the Congress candidate from the Grand Alliance is Anshul Abhijit. RJD candidate from Patliputra is Misa Bharti while BJP candidate is Ram Kripal Yadav. Before the counting begins, agents of political parties will be allowed entry to the counting center. The strong room will open at 8 am. First of all, the votes that were imported through a postal ballot will be counted. After that the votes imported in the EVM will be counted.
There are a total of six constituencies each in Patliputra and Patna Sahib Lok Sabha constituencies. A total of 15-15 counting tables including ARO have been installed to count the votes of the assembly constituencies in these two Lok Sabha constituencies. The counting of votes will take place on 14 counting tables. There will be a separate table for ARO. A total of 16 tables were set up separately to count the votes received through a postal ballot. About 600 officials and staff members will be on duty for counting and other processes. Tight security arrangements were made. The counting of the votes will be carried out under three-layer security. Security personnel will be everywhere. Surveillance is maintained through CCTV.
