Islamabad (Newsdesk) Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has imposed a strict ban on all officers / personnel of FBR, including members, to communicate with media persons (print and electronic) on any matter. The RK notification revealed that FBR has implemented the ban on once.
As per the instructions given by FBR to FBR members and Directors General, it has been observed that there is a growing tendency among officers to interact with media persons (print/electronic) without the permission of competent authority. . Therefore, it is directed that no official other than the FBR spokesperson is allowed to interact with the media on any matter.

The notice said. The FBR further said that no officer/official is allowed to use social media especially Twitter handles on a personal level in connection with the performance and policy decisions of the FBR except the official spokesperson.
