A target of 9.78 lakh quintals of seeds and 13.68 lakh tonnes of fertilizer
Officials in the Ministry of Agriculture said that this year a target has been set to distribute 9.78 lakh quintals of certified seeds in the state, of which 7.46 lakh quintals of seeds have been stored and 4.64 lakh quintals of seeds have been distributed. which is 47 percent of demand. While in Harif year 2023, a total of 9.43 lakh quintals of certified seeds were distributed in the country. Similarly, a target of 13.68 lakh tonnes of fertilizer has been set. Against them, 11.23 lakh tons of fertilizers were stored. Against this storage, 6.22 lakh tons of fertilizers were distributed to the farmers. which is 46 percent of the target.
