It was not an easy task to stop this long tradition of the tribes of North Bengal. Rather, the matter was quite sensitive. But that was the success. Badhuram Banvasti, a part of Jalpaiguri’s Garumara forest, turned out to be the color of spring after wild animals stopped hunting. Once upon a time, the people of this forest were busy hunting during the spring festival. But this time, along with the Kachikachas, the entire tribal community dances to the tune of Dhamsa-Madal and the flute of the tribal community.
