GUWAHATI: The 2024 student union elections at the Gauhati College of Commerce saw a complete sweep of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and its allies, winning all the 13 posts.
The ABVP, in alliance with GCC Boys’ Hostel, BLS and Gorkha groups, were victorious in every category.
Madhurjya Plaban Talukdar was elected President, and received 738 votes. Ryan Decca won the position of Secretary General with 765 votes.
