Islamabad (News Desk) In view of the Aafia Movement’s protest announcement in the federal capital of Islamabad, the red zone was sealed, Dr. Siddiqui, a Pakistani citizen, was sentenced to 86 years in prison for attempted murder and other charges in the city. The district administration has imposed strict security measures, using containers to block access to key roads and closing the red zone, in an attempt to stop the demonstration. Officials insisted that no protests were allowed in the area.
Law enforcement agencies are very vigilant to ensure public safety and maintain law and order, while Dr Siddiqui’s supporters express concern over his imprisonment and demand justice and fair treatment.
