A young resident of Supaul died due to drowning while bathing in the river Ganga at Bagusrai today. After the incident, chaos reigned among the family members. After much effort, local divers found the body and retrieved it.

The incident took place at Munger Ghat in Sahabpur Kamal Police Station area. The deceased has been identified as Nikhil Kumar (18), son of Pramod Chaudhary, a resident of Triuniganj in Sopol district.

Regarding the incident, it is said that Nikhil came with his family to bathe in the Ganga. While bathing, due to lack of awareness, he entered deep water. When he did not come out after a while, his family members created a commotion. People bathing tried to search. But no success was achieved. Local fishermen who were present nearby tried to search.
After that, Ajit Kumar, Pappu Sahni, Santosh Kumar, Joshi Kumar, Vishal Kumar and Nirala etc. took Nikhil’s body out of the river after many searches. As soon as the body was removed, chaos reigned among the family members.
