The common Krait snake, commonly known as the spotted mountain snake, is originally found in South East Asian countries including India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Symptoms include tightening of the facial muscles and inability to speak within 1-2 hours. If left untreated the patient can die from respiratory paralysis within 4-8 hours.
