A rickshaw driver died after being hit by a car in Kharapail Achi-News

Siliguri: A rickshaw driver had suffered from speeding on Sunday night. The identity of the deceased driver is not yet known. According to Matigara police sources, the driver was traveling along Khaparail road with his rickshaw that night. According to all reports, at that time a car came from behind and hit him. The vehicle then fled. The incident was reported to Matigara police station. The police came and rescued the rickshaw driver in a critical condition and took him to a local nursing home. There the doctor pronounced him dead. However, the police have not arrested anyone in this case so far. A case of unnatural death has been registered and an investigation has been initiated.
