Four people died on the spot in a house collapse incident in Petro Police town. A girl trapped under the rubble was rescued by rescue personnel. The body of the girl’s father was found in the same area. Many people died in accidents in Santa Cruz da Serra.
Governor Castatro of Rio de Janeiro said the situation in the city of Petropolis was dire. Weather experts say that such conditions are arising in Brazil due to climate change.
