A multiple car accident in Saint-Hyacinthe, Monterrey, left two people injured on Sunday night, according to figures from the Sureté du Québec (SQ).
The first incident happened at the intersection of Saint Louis Avenue and Brunt Ouest Street when two vehicles were involved in a collision.
After that, the first car hit the building and fled the scene, explains SQ spokeswoman Camille Savoy.
At the same time, the second vehicle deviated from its lane and collided with a third car arriving on Saint Louis Street.
A fourth vehicle, unable to avoid this collision, collided with the third vehicle.
The SQ reports that the drivers of the second and third vehicles were taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Investigators are working to determine the events that led to the collisions.
