A paramilitACHI soldier was killed and two others injured when armed CISF personnel opened fire at Kolkata’s National Museum, sources said. The target of the firing was a police vehicle parked near the police station in the museum complex. At least 25-30 rounds were fired inside the compound on Kite Street in central Kolkata.
The shooter, said to be a CISF jawan, is yet to be nabbed and is said to be moving with an AK-47 rifle.
A commando force moves in under the Kolkata Police and uses dragon lights to nab the armed shooter.
Meanwhile, the injured and the jawan’s body were taken to SSKM Hospital.
Footage from the scene showed the entire car hit by gunshots. The seat was covered in bloody bruises.
