While completing the hearing in the Batia drug sale case, the exclusive special judge of the NDPS Act Anand Vishwasdhar Dubey convicted a Nepalese national. After hearing arguments on the point of punishment, the judge sentenced convicted Nepali smuggler Sunil Lama Gurung to two years in prison under the NDPS, Narcotics and Cosmetics Act. The convicted accused is Sunil Lama Gurung, a resident of Gita Nagar under Chitwan district in Nepal.
