Nawada Police Station Superintendent Rakesh Kumar Singh has been suspended.

Departmental actions have been taken against four persons including three policemen for negligence in securing the EVM warehouse. Home Ministry has suspended Rakhit DSP Rakesh Ranjan. Apart from this, on the orders of DIG Naveen Chandra Jha, Superintendent Rakesh Kumar Singh of Nawada police station and Divya branch in-charge of police center, Sgt Pushpanjali, have also been suspended.
