Guwahati: A motorcyclist, Dibakar Phukan, died in a road accident on Thursday, September 26, near Ganeshguri crossing in Guwahati.

The incident took place at around 9:10 pm, when a lorry reportedly hit the two-wheeler. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene immediately after the collision.
The impact of the accident caused significant traffic congestion along the RG road in the wind, and affected the connectivity to the GS road at Ganeshguri roundabout.
A traffic official from the Dispoor police station confirmed, “The driver of the vehicle fled the scene. The investigation is underway.”
