A sudden fire broke out in the Purnia Court Bihariganj DMU passenger train.

Giving information about the matter, Railway Guard Jaiprakash Singh said that the Purnia Court Bihariganj DMU passenger train was traveling from Purnia Railway Court station to Bihariganj as scheduled when suddenly smoke started coming out from the rear bogie of the engine near Sarsi railway station. Seeing the fire in the bogie, some passengers started jumping off the train. When they heard the noise of the passengers and the train workers standing at the station, the guard and the driver of the passenger train acted with discretion. The train then stopped on the platform. There is no news of casualties to Indian Railways or any passengers in this incident. Upon receiving information about a fire in the train bogies, the fire department team arrived at the train station within 10 minutes and the fire was brought under control. As a result, a major accident was avoided.
