A team of the state drug department is investigating at the drug warehouse of KK Medico on Govind Mitra Road.

The State Narcotics Department team raided the unlicensed drug warehouse of KK Medico located at Govind Mitra Road. Illicit drugs (narcotic drugs) worth about 25 lakh rupees, eight cartons of liquor and medical samples worth 10-15 lakh rupees were seized from there. Two persons, Ajit Kumar and Ganesh Kumar from Bar were arrested. Both were involved in the sale of drugs and liquor. Apart from this, a case has been registered against the three named in Pirbahar Police Station under the NDPS Act-1985.

Without a warehouse license, a doctor’s sample worth Rs 10 lakh was also recovered
