If you are a regular viewer of The Kapil Sharma Show, Kiku Sharda is a familiar face. Over the past nine years, he has portrayed a variety of characters in the comedy show and tickled our funny bones. Recently, Mumbai was buzzing with the presence of popular singer Ed Sheeran. As he caught up with many celebrities, Kiku Sharda and his family also got a chance to meet the global icon briefly.

Kiku Sharda shared a series of pictures of himself and his family with Ed Sheeran on Instagram. The international celebrity is in India for his concert on March 16 at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse. Expressing gratitude, Kiku tagged the singer and wrote in the caption, “A day well spent with @teddysphotos. Thank you for being so kind.”

Kiku met Ed Sheeran at a party hosted by comedy king Kapil Sharma. The pop sensation is said to be set to appear in an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show. But all this is not confirmed yet. Along with other celebs, Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui and the host himself were seen parting ways with the famous singer.

Social media users took no time to respond to their favorite comedian’s heartfelt post. A user mentioned the names of Kiku’s children and said, “Aryan and Shaurya look great! Seeing them after a long time.” Another person noted, “Lovely bro pic.”

This was Ed Sheeran’s third visit to India this year for his Maths Tour, which started on April 23, 2022 and ends on September 8, 2024. The tour includes 116 concerts held around the world, including the one today in Mumbai.

Originally named Raghavendra Amarnath Sharda, our favorite Kiku shot to fame for his perfect comic timing in FIR, where he played the role of Constable Mulayam Singh Gulgule. He started his acting journey in 2003 with Darna Mana Hai. In the same year, Kiku played Hobo in the TV show Hatim. The actor has been a part of many shows like Comedy Circus, The Great Indian Comedy Show and Vicky and Vetaal.
