A 5-year-old girl living in Govindpur, Datia was bitten on the shoulder by a mad dog 3 months ago. Instead of giving the girl an anti-rabies injection, the family gave her local medicine and she became relaxed. Three months later, on April 1, the girl’s health suddenly deteriorated. At 8:30am on Wednesday, the parents took the girl to Kamalaraja Hospital in Gwalior where the doctor admitted her, but after half an hour of treatment the girl died. After this incident, there is panic in the whole village about the dog.
