On Saturday 9 March Shotley Bridge Nursery School opened its doors to the local community, inviting families to explore and discover the unique and nurturing world of early childhood education on offer. The Open Day was nothing short of a resounding success, embodying the spirit of learning, discovery and community that Shotley Bridge Nursery School is renowned for. As we reflect on the day’s events, we are excited to share the highlights and extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made it possible.
A Day of Discovery and Joy
From the moment the doors opened at 12pm, the air was full of excitement and laughter. Families, Practitioners and children alike basked in the joy of exploration, taking part in interactive tours of vibrant environments, led by the nursery children. The Nursery was buzzing with activity, showcasing the creative and inclusive approach to learning that Shotley Bridge Nursery School is celebrated for.

A Special Addition to our Open Day
We were lucky enough to have a representative from Apetito, the food company we partner with, in attendance, promoting their company while giving our visitors the opportunity to sample some of their delicious food. This added a wonderful dimension to our Open Day, enabling families to experience the quality and variety of the meals we offer our children. It was a great example of how we collaborate with partners who share our commitment to quality and well-being.
