The French brand teamed up with Greek researcher and visual artist Lounis Michaeladis to create the world’s lightest handbag using a material called ‘aerogel’.
Silica gel is considered the world’s lightest solid material, consisting of 99 percent air and only one percent glass.
It is produced in a stainless steel mold through a special drying process, which turns liquids into glass under the influence of special temperatures and pressures.
