Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said in a statement on Wednesday that “there is no question of saving anyone in an alleged case of sexual harassment”. He said legal action was being taken. In fact, Amit Shah said on Tuesday that while raising questions about the Karnataka Congress government in the sexual harassment case, he asked why no action was taken against Prajwal Ravana? G Parameshwar responded to this statement by Amit Shah.
SIT is investigating
Prajwal Revanna, grandson of former chief minister and son of MLA HD Revanna, is accused of involvement in the case of making obscene videos of women. Prajuwal is contesting the ongoing Lok Sabha elections from Hassan seat in Karnataka, where voting was held last Friday. The Karnataka Home Minister said that an SIT was constituted on April 28 itself to investigate the Prajwal Ravana case. SIT on Tuesday issued a notice to Prajwal Ravana and his father HD Ravana. In the complaint filed in the case of sexual harassment, along with Prajwal Revanna, his father HD Revanna is also named.
The interior minister said – he will not leave
In the SIT notice, Prajwal and HD Revanna were ordered to appear before the SIT. The Karnataka Home Minister said that “No one has been arrested yet in this case. The investigation is on and after taking into account all the facts, a notice has been issued under Section 41A of CrPC. Both will have to appear before the SIT within 24 hours, if both fail to appear, action will be taken against them.” Further steps. Yes, it is not true to say that we do nothing. Actions are taken according to the law, so action cannot be taken arbitrarily.
