The new series Raat Jawaan Hai showcases a fresh take on friendship, parenthood, and the trials of modern life.
Sony LIV has announced the filming of the new series Raat Jawaan Hai. The show is directed by Sumeet Vyas. The series features a stellar cast including Barun Sobti, Anjali Anand, and Priya Bapat. As production begins, the stars have treated fans to a behind-the-scenes (BTS) look. Taking to her Instagram handle, Anjali Anand delighted her fans by sharing a series of pictures. The first snapshot shows Anjali holding the clapper board emblazoned with the name of the series Raat Jawaan Hai, while the subsequent images capture her beautifully alongside Sumeet Vyas, Barun Sobti, and Priya Bapat, radiating camaraderie on set.
Alongside the pictures, Anjali wrote in the caption, “Raat Jawaan Hai! Shooting begins and what a great start. It’s been fun working with so many favorites from cast to crew. We’re having too much fun making this for you and I’m sure you’ll have too much fun watching it.”
She further expressed her admiration for Sumeet Vyas’ directorial prowess, writing, “That second last picture is for Sumeet Vyas and Sumeet Vyas only! Where do you find such a cool, hot, roaring Director?” She also showered love on the team behind the scenes, saying, “Khyati Anand, Barun Sobti, Priya Bapat, Vicky Vijay , Priyansh Jora, Twisha Pal, Jay I. Patel, Love you guys. Nothing without my team that carries me every day.”
He ended his post by hilariously adding, “Because I suck at social media, this clap picture idea is shamelessly crowned by Parush Pahuja. I saw it and I like it and I want it too.”
Barun Sobti also shared some fun pictures with Anjali, Priya, and Sumeet on Instagram, saying, “Raat Jawan Hai – Great fun to shoot, will be more fun to watch. Can’t wait to share this with everyone!”
Meanwhile, Sumeet Vyas who is recognized for his roles in Tripling and Chhatriwali, is stepping into the shoes of the director for the series. Sharing pictures with the cast, Sumeet wrote, “A story of three friends portrayed by Priya Bapat, Barun Sobti, and Anjali Anand. Made by three friends Khyati Anand, Vicky Vijay, and Me. And of course, all a single person who has been sucked into RJH’s gravitational force. Sony LIV India has the most amazing team who go out of their way to protect good stories and of course. Yamini Pictures, who believed in this show, the script this, and me, probably more than I did. I still pinch myself sometimes, my first appearance in the Directory is on the floor!”
