Citizens are not allowed to issue challenges from 5 pm to Iftar Achi-News

KARACHI (Web Desk) DIG Traffic Karachi Ahmad Nawaz has issued orders that no officer will issue challenges from 5 pm to Iftar and will keep the traffic flowing so that citizens can break fast in their homes easily.

DIG Traffic said that if someone commits a traffic offense along with his family, he should be given a warning and guided instead of a challenge. Challenging Officers will only challenge serious offences.

DIG Traffic has said that the driving officer will not conduct a challenge without a rabbit body camera, officers and officers will not stand together.

In light of the orders of IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, DIG Traffic Ahmed Nawaz Cheema briefed the officers. Deputy Inspector General of Police Traffic Karachi Ahmed Nawaz gave his first speech at the Sindh Boys Scout Auditorium. He also said that controlling the flow of traffic is among the main priorities, traffic officers must adopt a good attitude towards the public.

Traffic SPs, DSP Security, all officers of the department and record keepers participated in the meeting. There is a need to focus on one-way offenses which not only lead to accidents but also disrupt the flow of traffic.

DIG Traffic further said that all the departments will display the pick up time boards according to their area, a specific time should be set for picking up the vehicles, the vehicles will be picked up only in case of double parking or illegal parking.

If officers and officials misbehave or argue with anyone, the department will take action against them.
