Saudi Arabia announces four-day Eid-ul-Fitr holiday Achi-News

RIYADH: Saudi Arabian authorities have announced a four-day Eid-ul-Fitr holiday for the private and non-profit sectors, as reported by local media.

According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the holiday is due to start on the 29th of Ramadan, falling on April 8, Monday, at the end of the working day. Employees are given Eid-ul-Fitr holiday until Thursday.

The ministry emphasized the importance of adhering to the regulations outlined in the second paragraph of Article 24 of the executive regulation of the Labor Law.

With Friday and Saturday already designated as weekends in the Kingdom, workers can enjoy a six-day break. Work in the public and private sectors will resume on Sunday, April 14.
