On Monday, Punjab had given Bengaluru a target of 177 runs at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Bengaluru won by losing 6 wickets. Opening for Bengaluru, Virat Kohli scored 77 runs in 49 balls. This is his 51st half century. Kohli has scored his 100th half-century in T-20 cricket.

After Kohli, Dinesh Karthik took over the innings. He played an unbeaten innings of 28 runs in 10 balls. After that Mahipal Lomror scored 17 runs in 8 balls. Kagiso Rabada and Harpreeti Brar took 2-2 wickets. Shikhar Dhawan played the captaincy innings for Punjab. He scored 45 runs in 37 balls. Jitesh Sharma scored 27 runs and Prabhsimran Singh scored 25 runs. In the last over of the innings, Shanshak Singh faced 8 balls and scored 21 runs.
