The emergency and maintenance fund will be released to complete the necessary facilities and minor repairs to the schools before the summer holidays. With this new money given by the government, tube lights, bulbs, fans, switches and necessary water supply arrangements can be made for the schools. All these are undertaken by the Amma Adarsh ​​School Committees to be established by the government in the schools. Funding from the Cylch Minerals Foundation Trust, Special Development Fund and Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme available with the Collector will be used for school development.
The idea is to complete the repair work on the schools by June 10, ie before the end of the summer holidays. It has also drawn up procedures for this. MPDOL will make direct payments for projects worth Rs 1 lakh undertaken in schools. Officials say that the bills will have to be obtained through the district collectors.
Leaders and teachers of teachers’ unions said that the government’s decision will be useful for the development of schools. It is said that many problems have accumulated in schools since recent years. He said the students were facing difficulties due to lack of water, classrooms, doors, windows and cleaning washrooms in the schools. Teachers’ union leaders say that many minor problems in schools can be solved with this fund provided by the education department.
